Today is one of our favorite fashion and music icons birthday.... Cher was born as Cherilyn Sarkisian on May 20, 1946 and turns 69 today. For this Woman Crush Wednesday we are dedicating today to MOM the Goddess of Pop as we share our favorite Cher fashion moments throughout 5 decades. Recognized for having brought "female autonomy" and "self-actualization" into the male dominated  entertainment industry of the 60's and 70's;  Goldmine magazine’s Phill Marder described her as the leader of an effort in the 1960s to “advance feminine rebellion in the rock world [and] the prototype of the female rock star, setting the standard for appearance [and] attitude”.
